OK, could get money off scrappie for it but don't like the idea of a good 16v engine and gearbox getting crushed when it could be used. Loads of parts are shared by MK2 GTI and Corrado. My mate's son has a VR6 Corrado so he'll maybe take some of the Corrado specific bits. But as I said it'll be after we get back from holiday.

Today in Edinburgh stopped at the lights were two super cool customised Yamaha V-Max, one green, one orange with amazing paint jobs. Really like the V-Max from an aesthetic point of view but will never have the guts or cash to own one.
Great weather brings out great motors including a beautifully restored Triumph Stag in yellow, soft top down. My neighbours when I was a child in the 1970's had one while we had a second hand Ford Escort 1100
