Not excited, just ironically realising that in order to remain in a calm and peaceful environment I have to do these things when I could be fettling. Anyway just been listening to Floyd. Is On the turning away one of the best lyrics?

Boggles me that I can lie here with a device as thick as a cackliator and watch Le Mans beamed footage live from the inside of a car. Kirk would be amazed.

Take a queue from the HGttG and break out the towel(s). Put a (large) dry towel in with the clothes at the start. After 10 minutes pull it out, hang it to air dry somewhere and put another dry towel in. Pull that one out after another 10 minutes and hang that one up to air dry too. Let the clothes finish drying and check your new total drying time now.

Go to a homeless shelter once a week and get clothes. Burn old clothes.

We barely use our drier, but it is certainly a godsend when you need it.

With a house the size of a gnat's palace, there's no room for a tumble dryer. It goes outside on the line til it's dry.
This year, I estimate it should be dry by October 15th. :roll:



And, yes, very profound, according to the other half - but his brain's been fried by all that wailing on Great Gig In The Sky......

I have never considered Floyd to be profound.

The feeling the music instils is perhaps; but everything is pretty simple and bullet pointed musically and lyrically, not particularly multi layered.

One of my all time favourite bands.
