Greetings

Does anyone know the NCS or RAL color code for the Molteni Orange.
Im going to paint my 1973 team issue Colnago Super frame and why not in orange....

Any ideas ???
 
The problem is that I have never seen a Molteni bike in the flesh...
All I know is from pictures from the internet and maybe they all are not painted in the exactly same color, the jerseys clearly is not..

Chap i know just had his colnago restored by argos in molteni colours. Even filled in some of the lugwork detailing just as merckx had. Anyhow will ask on colour code if i remember, you could contact argos directly. To my eye the colour was spot on...
 
Of course, you could also contact the Eddy Merckx factory to ask which colour they used.

Have you looked at all the other bikes yet? Fabulous! :shock:
 
I'm just in love with all of them!! What a great collection - and some good tips on restoration too.

Personally I'd love a Molteni replica. The absolute icon of the period.
