Am I correct in thinking that as long as I keep the entire lower and upper headset assemblies (bearings, races etc) together I can happily mix and match headset set cups?
Not that I think it makes a difference but this is ahead.
The headset I have at the moment has a very loose fork crown race and whilst shimming is an option I want to consider others.
