Can you make money from dating sites ?

I have a few online ideas to make cash I just don't find the time to write them. I don't know whether to learn the skills and write them, to buy in an idea and tweak and re-market it, or to employ someone to write it.

I could, pitch them to Darren Richards via his website posted by greenstiles.
He may then nick 'em!!

Back to OP, yes you can make money, how much I don't know but if you're writing it yourself what do you have to lose other the time, but a decent dating site will be way more involved than a simple site. Users expect stuff to work and work well right away, short attention span and the internet means they'll quickly move on.

I've made a couple of very basic sites but things have moved on, a lot.

I'd never find love on those sites, I'd add a pic and they'd run a mile, I secured mine in playgroup, safer that way as 3 year olds are less judgemental :D
