the underside of bb had paint wear, and there is gravel markings on the down tube under side
the colour is like a blue lacquer, similar to the red lacquer used in the legendary saronni red
the saronni refurbs I've seen, be they by argos, or atlantic boulevard amongst others all ways have a metallic finish in the lacquer, as with some blues,
so i think I'll avoid a refurb as the blue lacquer with its natural light and dark areas would be nigh on impossible to do

so , the last pictures, fitted the nisi's, to be honest, I find the black ambrosio's more aesthetically pleasing, I have another two sets, one nos for posh times, and another with light wear for street fighting/racing, so I think I'll cannibalise the nisi's for another build with 1st gen sr high flange hubs, and transplant the other hubs and spokes to the black amb's
