British Eagle touristique

Ready for a test ride this weekend.

First impressions:

- I´m loving the handlebar, confortable position and the steering is really responsive.
- Overall it´s fast and quiet.
- Some issues still but it will be solved.

This is not the final bar tape, just for testing.

Works really well, big to small and small to big, this is all friction shifting. But the 28 is only for steep climbs and only on the 3 bigger cogs. I ride the 48 most of the time.

Hi. Lovely work on the bike.
How did you make the chainstay protector? I've been looking for a similar one for my Holdsworth Elan but you can't them anymore.

I used aluminium tubing, cut it in half, shaped it, sanded and lightly polished. It´s not perfect but does it´s job very well.
