Lovely. Incredible condition too - original Marin rockstar tyres by the looks of it.

I have a 92 pine mountain that was in similar condition when I got it a couple of years ago. Still my top bike for sunny days.

The more bikes I try though, the more I realise that the Marin has the longest reach of the lot. Fast but puts a strain on your neck and back.

they got taken off but never thrown away so all went back on when wasn't really using it. In fact as it is now is all original except the chain which is same as was and the saddle which I have now changed for a Marin Lite but from '95, so if anyone got a '92 one then interested, although do recall not that comfortable. Some more pics if anyone wondering / needing original reference.

absolutely, I have played around with a size smaller, a pine mountain, which I got as frame only and then an eldridge both a year older from 1991.



Been using the pine on a local "short circuit" in effort to get back on bike. Nipping out on the 19" eldridge, it actually felt quite similar in size to pine, and some measuring suggests actually no gain from smaller frame as the saddle to bb and saddle to bar measurements are the same :roll: .

The smaller eldridge does have a smaller reach but that is all from the short stem (ahead conversion - no comments from style police please), as I got it and now.......

So that's what happened to my saddle!

Thats a nice trio you have there! I agree with the long reach feel to Marin's I guess thats why they have always suited me. I have disproportionately long arms for my body so fits me nicely. I have 130mm stems and 110mm stems so you can always play around with the stem length they do a 90mm too...
