Hi guys,

How do you remove the lower shock mount from a Fox (RP3) rear shock?

I'm not on about the shock bushes, just the silver bits at the bottom of the picture below. I thought that that they were just an inteference fit, but there is what looks to be a big grub screw above them and I'm wondering whether this has anything do do with removing them?

file.php

That grub screw is for filling the shock with nitrogen and or oil. The silver shock mounts should just pull out although they can be little buggers to get out.

I thought as much. Just didn't want to start pulling on them without knowing for certain!

Cheers fella :)

No worries. I've had to absolutely muller them before to get them out, especially with the old PTFE bushes which were pants.

the grub screw has notjhing to do with the bushes - once you get one out, the other you can tap out with a drift.
