Wonder when that pic of Alf was taken, IIRC the RTTC banned brake levers hiding behind the bars in 1978 as they couldn't be reached "from a normal riding position"

One of the few photos taken with the 'behind the bars levers' I reckon. I think he only rode a couple of events in that format before they were 'banned' and he decided himself that they weren't really viable.

'Normal riding position' is a bit of a discussion point if current tri-bar riding positions are considered.
