been doing a fair bit searching on this one the past few days.
there are a few good cannondale sites.
the serial number is BB0473? should be one under the cable routing guide.
so BB means it is indeed a 1984 model.
i picked up my wheels today and spent some time giving them a good cleaning.
can't believe these were on the way to recyclers. in very good condition.
original cannondale sun rims with specialized hubs. date stamped as well. one late '83 the other '84.
also build dates written on rims under rim tape. early '84 to mid '84.
here's a few pictures.
still hoping someone has some ideas on that rollercam mounting. it's supposed to have a dia compe mx-1000 bmx type brake. anyone think that is a factory change?
