Vit T - eurobuild

Re: Vit T Mongrel - eurobuild

And that was pretty much the spec it had on Urban Retro Bike #3.

What's left to go :
Period decals
Fit rear hose properly
place Heli Tape on me delicates.

Unfortunately I failed at the first hurdle of refitting the rear c2 and couldn't for the life of me swap the existing rear caliper for one with a working bleed valve. fortunately one of our resident C2 experts Tony helped me out with some new caliper halves.

a decal order in with Gil and Im almost there.

Here is the current state :

Re: Vit T Mongrel - eurobuild

Final bits arrived last weekend and were fitted. Much happier with the Rond headset - fits the build much better. Spent the rest of the time fettling the C2's - they are dragging a bit and still need tweaking.

Took the bike for a spin on Sun - towing a trail gator :)

Pics to follow.

Also weighed it - 10.16 kg on some luggage scales. Which makes it a smidgen over 22lbs

that chainset looks terrible......best send it to me and i will make sure it never goes on your bike again!!!

Loving the Eurobuild mate, always liked the Vit T bitd, that saddle looks weird though, you wouldn't like a flite instead?

Good luck :) As above I'd recommend a different saddle and get the steerer cut so you loose the excess. The devil is in the detail...
