20 minutes to strip all bits off bike, except the crank, anyway a little time later after finding the angle grinder and 1mm cutting disk, but still a pain trying not to damage frame and BB.

Worst one for me was "ping!/ouch!/squeal!/bang!"

Front brake cable snappage on a long (tarmac) downhill while crouching over the bars for "aerodynamic effect" (hey, I was young then!), outer hit me in the chin, I grab a handful of back brake in a panic, lock the wheel and wear straight through the tyre! - cue 3-mile walk home...

I still have a small scar on my chin from that incident
