Just a few from the collection Nob? Plenty more where those came from I'll bet.
To answer Lewis, yes, in cycle sport terms TT'ing in the UK was and still is in many ways the mainstay of amateur racing as it is so easy to get into. No need for licences and all the UCI related paraphenalia. Just join a registered club and away you go. Generally there will be a local club event most weekday evenings - just turn up and ride. Several (many?) open events each weekend and midweek in summer which require pre-entry but a full field is 150 these days and it isn't often they are over subscribed (unless it's on a well known and super fast course) so plenty of chance to get racing through the season. And no need for a specialist bike until you really get into it. Anything on 2 wheels will do to start!
