well today i joined 35 other riders in a charity ride from horncastle to barton, we did the 50 miles via the viking way.organised by local bike shop rusty's, they did a stirling job, food stops etc ......and maps, very very helpful  lol.

got 3 punctures, lost 2-3 times and really enjoyed it, weather was shit hot!!!

rek weve raised over 3k for prostate cancer!!!!

ps, the 200gs thumbies worked a treat ;)

wish id rode the pace but 50 miles on a very stiff frame with 40mm of travel.....no way lol

I did 44 miles on my 1988 Rockhopper.

Rigid.

I'm now quite ill.

I have a feint buzzing in my head and I can't feel my legs.

Well done, Longun, sounds like a good ride despite all the probs :? and great to have raised so much for a really good cause.
Wish we'd have known, we'd have come to wave you off before we set off from Horncastle over the Wolds.
You're right - the weather was fab.
Sal and Andy (Andybike)

PS Just 33 miles for us -thought we'd done quite well til we saw what you (and Trebz) had done!!
