For sale is my Trek 5000 oclv 120 carbon framed TT bike.

It started off as a 56cm Trek 5000 road bike 2005 model, but was a little small. I converted it to a TT bike, and due to the really low head tube is proved ideal.
In doing the conversion it was treated to a new 105 53/39 crankset, 105 front and rear deralliers, 105 calipers, profile design aero bars and Dura Ace shifters. Most of the other bits are standard.

The new bits have probably covered about 200 miles in total so almost like new.

It's mechanically sound, but there are a few lacquer blemishes on the frame. These are purely cosmetic.

The rims have a few knocks and dents but run true and smooth.

The tyres could probably do with replacing.

It gave me 2 minutes over a standard road bike on the club 10 route the first time I rode it. Despite it not being a TT specific frame, it is surprisingly comfortable and effective to ride. The seat post is reversed so you can get nice and forward, and there is a lot more scope for getting the front end lower for a more aggressive position.

I'm 6'1" and it fits me fine.

Could easily be converted back to a standard road bike.

105 mechs, chainset and calipers.
Dura Ace bar end shifters.
Bontrager race wheels
Bontrager race X lite seatpost
Profile design bars
On one big nose saddle
