Do you insist on the same sex GP, I always do, cannot cope with a man touching me even on my arms, but my hubby will only see my female GP. She has been my rock through mu mental health, but I still won't see the opposite sex one regardless.

If im going to the GP that means Im pretty sick! By that stage i could not care less if its a bloke or woman..strangely i would rather drop my pants for a woman :p

I prefer women generally. My wife has had men for years but recently tried women and is finding it preferable. When I tore my ball sack a while ago my GP was very sensitive about it, I doubt a man would have been so.

WTF! :?

Im thinking quite hard and the only two things i can think of that would result in a torn sack are either a ball busting fetich..... or you are a fireman and you it the pole with too much speed..

Regardless was hospital not your first thought, or do you have a particularly attractive GP? If this is the case was the sack injury deliberate?

I was hospitalized but before that still insisted on my female GP although mine was mental, i would still insist on a female GP however I'll i was, i have refused male specialist help when near death. To see someone female because i felt afraid of the male doctor offering me treatment.

I don't think that it's at all strange - my GP is female, BTW.

I've had a couple of issues in 'intimate' areas and can confirm that doctors are there to do a job, in the same way I wouldn't care whether the postman was male or female, although I can confirm that when one has to have a digit inserted somewhere, I prefer a lady to do it has they have skinnier fingers.

Although like men there is an intimate exam that we have to go through, for men it's the prostate, you know what it is for women, I'd prefer that to be a woman, but for the last 13 years go near me an I'd. Kill you :) but as a man would you not prefer a male GP?

There's no shame in it either way.

I'll be blunt - I was shitting blood. It scared me and I didn't know what to do, but was far too embarrassed to tell anyone, knowing full well that it meant an 'intimate' examination. After drunkenly mentioning it to a mate, he said to me "Do you want to die of embarrassment?" After that I went to the doctor and found out what it was, while not what you'd call fun, an enormous weight lifted. I had piles. I could possibly have had cancer, but for the sake of worrying about something every gp probably does every day, I found out I was suffering from something 1 in 3 people have!

Since then I don't care who is checking me out!
