Diamondback ID help?

Hey all

This just came up on the local gumtree, happily coinciding with a text saying that a £400 insurance cheque has just been posted to me.

Any idea what it its? I'm thinking 1997 or so, looking at the V brakes, trigger shifters and 1 1/8 headset, but I haven't got much clue as to the model. Any help?

Looks like a Topanga from the writing on top tube. It's a 1997 model.

Can't find much information on spec really, but doesn't seem to be too different from my Alpinestars. Think I'll give it a miss.

thsi is the suspension version...so not sure ifg the spec is exactly the same

I'd say it's probably pretty similar, and it's identical in spec to my Alpinestars. Wouldn't be surprised if the frame were made in the same factory too...

i only say that in that i believe that my 1994 Axis TR compared to regular Axis, mine got manitou 3's over rigid fork where as it got downgraded to LX crank and front mech while the other kept XT... So maybe similar deal.
