I used to cycle upwards of 25 miles a day and have the original receipt dated 22nd March 1995 for the Rayleigh M-Trax 600R I bought in my late 20's. 18 years on and a few pounds heavier - I have restored my M-Trax to the best of my ability without the need for a respray - in preparation of getting healthier again! :roll:
I know my M-Trax was hand-built - which is clearly identified on the frame - for its launch / an exhibition in London.
I would be intrigued to know more of the history of my M-Trax and whether as a hand-built former exhibition example, it has any historical value.
The underside of the crank shaft is stamped with two sets of numbers being 5115645 and 76834. Also, there is a label at the base of the seat shaft identifying the number 51273677.
Can anyone indicate where I should start my investigations?
