well with no pics, no description on condition etc it would have been quite hard, then resorted to name calling and thread locked.......

shame as this is one of my favourite bikes BITD and I don't own one, but would anyone buy unseen in such circumstances, I'm still a relative newbie on this forum but most places prefer a bit of etiquette before blatantly joining to sell stuff but I guess he couldn't be bothered before sticking it on ebay.

That's totally true but some are lazy and can't be bothered to put any effort behind a sale.

Back end saggier than a capri's back end and "choice" parts such as the Acera (or lower) rear mech.

I bought a tidy cossteted one that had a cracked pivot so I'd go over it carefully. could be a good buy but i think the price its at is about right given its "well serviced" state.
