That's the badger!!

I wrap the cable clockwise but it rubs on the front dreailleur clamp a bit.. I think I have to sit down and move the mech around slightly so that a) it doesn't rub and b) it follows the chain line correctly..

Leave it " as is " if you want the original spec dude. That little bit of rub will do no harm once you've minimised it with gentle mech positioning.
