My first MTB was an Emmelle Classic built with 300LX and Araya rims. Would have been a '92 or '93 I would image. Seemed to do the job.

A gold/black marble effect frame. I am sure I have seen a 'better' brand from that time using the same frame.

Now you say I think it was a Diamond Back I saw with the same frame.

There used to be a site where you could search brands and there bikes from years back but I can not remember what it was called?

Now thats a coincidence, I thought my DB Sorrento and Emmelle Dolomite looked remarkably similar, not exactly but very close. Mind you the Dolomite is the better frame but as i say it does look very similar, possibly more like a Topanga.
