M560 Parallax hubs; What year?

Hey guys.

I'm trying to pin down the age of a bike, It's got a full M560 groupset with Parallax hubs. I've looked on Mombat, but they don't list anything for LX; I'm thinking 94, but wondered if anyone else had any thoughts?

Nevermind, looked in the archive, and it was from 94 onwards.

However, the bike appears to have a groupset from the 96 catalogue; does this mean it was sold during 95/96?

But what are the '96 parts, both so far have been earlier...

Oh its a carbon whatsit, silver cranks 563 every thing looks to be 94/5 LX group, even the rear mech

The front much may not be original or any of it. If it is m56... Er 567 I think as that would be '96.
That style was xtr only for '95.

What else do you think is 96?

The whole groupset is 96 shimano catalogue spec. The pads with inserts are only in the 96 catalogue, and the front mech fits with this too.

If in doubt they have date codes, google for the sequence ( IIRC its two letters, A-Z for year counting from 1976 and A-L for month).
