Marin Frame Identification

I have in my posession a Marin frame with number M13LAB001
Can anyone help me figure out what it is.

One identifying feature is the position of the cable bosses which are right on the steerer tube not further back as per.

PS a magnet sticks to it
 
possibly an early team marin. made by marvel (M) Team is number one (1). other numbers indicate frame size etc....
