Crank chain ring compatibility question

I cannot quite tell from the picture but that's the one where the granny bolts on to the middle ring ?

If it is you're stuffed unless you can find the rings somewhere or find and adaptor.

Of course I have a NOS ringset in a box so I can take pictures if you're not convinced of the ram tooth profiling ?

It does indeed........thought it was unusual stx RC in pretty good shape apart from the 'missing' teeth

Are these rare then?

depends if you define the middle of the range Marin as rare. :)

Didnt mean the bike, I meant the replacement crank set?

Thinking long term e.g. if i ever see any spare chain rings etc should i snap them up?

I was meaning probably one of the better selling most popular bikes, so should be plenty of them ;)

I wouldn't bother, I would just buy a new chain set at that point.

Shimano did these rings for only one year. Instead of a 94mm PCD, they went with 95mm.
A classic case of planned obsolescence.
