Help needed please, I've recently revived a pair of Campag hubbed wheels with GP4s but the front hub has quite a bit of play in it so I think it needs new internals, not sure exactly but think I need new cups & cones or bearing races, are these the same thing?
My LBS has done its best with new bearings & packing it with grease & I could tighten up the cups a bit but from memory it had a bit of play in it when I stopped using it a few years ago so I'd like to try & sort it out properly as I'm enjoying riding them as my regular everyday summer wheels at the moment.
Anyhow, they're from the early 1990s & I think they're Chorus or Athena hubs. They have a grease port in the middle & I know they're not Record as I'd remember that. Does anyone know where I could get spares for these? I'm not worried about getting original campag spares, anything that would work will be fine.
