Starting at £80 for a 531 frame, wow. Considering that the Butler Antaeus 653 frame that was also handbuilt in the UK only made £50 and my Raleigh Team frame and forks also in 531 only set me back £50 delivered. Interested to see how much this makes.

Carl.

You got some bargains!

What do we think then? £200?

My antaeus I've had since new, but the only other frame I've ever seen sold a few weeks ago for that amount. Probably around the 200 mark like you say though.

I don't think that's unreasonable, given that a Taiwanese frame hand made in 853 will cost you three to four hundred, and a British hand made frame more like a grand.

I think it loses value without the original fork.

They are probably at the back of a shed or garage somewhere, left over from when the owner upgraded them to a nice new pair of Rock Shocks.
