Ok the bike is up and running and is good as new.
I replaced the elastomers in the end with land rover defender front bottom suspension bushes which were £3.60 in total, bargain. They were the perfect height and had a 12mm centre hole. The outer diameter was too big, to solve this a laid some Emry cloth out on the work bench taped it down, put a bush in the drill and sanded the bush down,repeated for the other 3 perfect result.
Bike is now good as new.
