Absolutely fantastic!

I have # SM218, which I bought from the original owner. He said he purchased in late 86, so I'd say your year is correct.

Terrific purchase....they also ride really well.

Cheers fellas. Unfortunately, on its way across the ocean the box took an absolute pounding and the top tube picked up a few paint nasty looking chips on the right hand side (which you can't quite make out on the photos) but its generally in great condition for a 27 year old

Just a quick update on the Salsa. First "proper" offroad excursion on it at the Yorkshire Retro Ride, 21 miles of great trails

Bike handles great especially on the 2.2 Fattrax and is so comfortable. Love it.
