keith Bontragers "Experimental".

Nick you have the "eye of an eagle".

The bike is totally unchanged from when i collected it, it has'nt been painted, what you are seeing is the remanence of the rest of the Original decal, imprinted onto the frame essentially the remainder of the headbadge long since lost from 1000s of hours of riding and then cleaning i suspect..........

Amazing! When was this frame built?

Approximately 1995 for this frame, built in the Santa Cruz Frame shop.

I could be wrong in thinking this was the only Multi Material Hardtail with the carbon seatstay...? (happy to be corrected on this as I can honestly remember for sure.)

There are only two aLuminum front/steel rear

There are a "handful" of the Carbon rear MM's . . . five if I count right

I appreciate he has most of the prototypes Holly.... And you have most of the older fillet steel stuff, i just wish for the sake of the Site, me and the rest of the world, you would contribute a bit more, with pics and a bit of editorial.

I have tried my best with it, but given you have always been on the doorstep, i suspect im not the only one that would value such Contributions.
