Time left: 2d 05h (26 Apr, 2013 15:38:11 BST)

Friday afternoon, not your neck of the woods by any chance is it? I've tried asking the seller and he was helpful but has trouble getting to a depot etc.

Ill be coming up from Essex, near Saaarfend. So i could take a slight detour, but it will all depend if i come up the day before!!

How much is the YH? Any ideas?

Bit of a heads up if anyone is staying over.

The 2 closest YHA's....Bridges and Stretton Bunkhouse are full..I managed to get a bed at Wilderhope Manor whis is about 14 miles away.

Still better than leaving at 5am!!!!!

He's offered to meet at Beaconsfield services, J2 on the M40 if that's the way you'd travel? Tends to be my choice just because the roadworks on the M1 drive me mad!

Would that be Saturday morning then?

Very kind of you to consider it .. bet I don't win the auction now!

I've got a pass for Sunday. Would I be okay doing this rigid?

Thanks
Matt

I rode it last year rigid and it was good fun. That said it was on a bike with clown wheels and not enough gears

Rob; I haven't forgotten my food order. I should know by lunchtime as to whether I have a confirmed pass so will PM you.

Whats the weather your way like?

Its waders weather in the flat lands.

I will be there sporting (for a second year) a spectacularly non retro bike ....

8 gears were not enough last year

I found 8 to be a little limiting last year but that was primarily drown to fitness and experimental Alfine gear ratios .....

I'm going with 12 more this year but my fitness is (hopefully) better .....
