Going to get rid of that seatpost so it'll be on the sale section soon.
I can't understand , the older use design was crap but far better than the newer !
Talk about retrogression

Received a phone call from USE this morning, exactly how the guy yesterday said so.
Very good customer service.
It cost me £7 but they're sending out a new bolt!

Pleased!

I cheekily asked for some stickers too!!

I cut mine down to road bike length. Way too scary for mountain bikes.

£ 7 for a bolt - what is so psecoial about it? Is it Ti (which is not as strong as Steel).

Cap head bolts are available in 12.9 T (usually steel bolts are 8.8T - the bigger numebr indicates higher tensile strengh) - since you haver snapped one already, I would suggest going for the 12.9.

It wasn't just the bolt they are sending, I think it is one part of the clamp (which comes in three parts) and the bolt is only available with this spare.

Yep, 1 part of the Cyclops seatclamp arrived with brand new bolt!
yay!
Fitted it, took me about 1/2 hour fiddling swearing and cursing.

so now want rid - swap or sell (swap for another make Ti seatpost)
