Clues to the age of a San Marco Rolls Titanio saddle?

Retro Newbie
A little while back, I purchased a used Selle San Marco Rolls Titanio saddle (with a beater French mixte attached) for an absolute steal. I'm curious as to how old the saddle might be, although the date code that's stamped on the underside of it isn't legible. Does anyone know when this particular variant came on the market? Are there any clues to be had from the way that they're badged? I've noticed that some come with the diamonds on the side being gold colored, others are silver, and I've also noticed that some have the "Rolls" text in black, and some in red. Does that serve as any indicator as to the vintage of the saddle?

i am sure that they started making the titanium rolls in the late 80s.
a friend of mine had one on his eddy merckx motorola bike kitted out
with shimano dura ace 8 speed, so i'm guessing that's about right
for this period.

nice seat!
