Impromptu Rides & Chat Thread

If you fancy a re-run of your ride next Sunday then I'll be up for joining you, a little too far afield for my funds to allow this week I'm afraid, sorry for the late response!

Next Sunday is a 'No Go' for me as I am 'On Call' for work all week. Shame as today was GREAT !!!

Ahh poosticks, ended up going for a walk, (yes a fcuking walk) down to spurn point with a mate today instead, was a good little mooch, but there werent any bikes involved so it wasnt that much fun lol!

Looks nice Rich!

Whos up for Wednesday evening? 7.00pm in Welton again finishing in the Green Dragon for a swift one.

The ride was a slightly longer version of this: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=240400

Aftermath here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=240558

I am riding it again with my pal, Nigel, this Sunday, start time at the car park is 9AM. I also have another local Doncaster chap attending on a modern bike.

Nigel joined me on the last one and he loved every minute of it, I found what I can only describe as an MTB playground along the way so it'll be more enjoyable this time, see pictures next to the Wier: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;start=60

All comers welcome. I'll create a new post for the ride later when I have more time, I'm going to Bridlington today with the missus and my daughter :)

Well have fun with all the 'in-brids' lol, how long is the ride time wise, as I'm up for pastures new, but I'd need to be back on the way home for about 2pm maybe a bit later?
Plus it depends what Ben fancies doing too!

Trip details here gentlemen: http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/ViewTrip ... dium=email

Not overly long but Chris and Ben will agree that it can be a little technical in places.

There is a hidden section which the other guys didn't see, if we are ok for time we can hang around this new area and have a play ;-)

We can also add a little time by visiting Conisbrough Castle along the way, something we took in as part of the mid winter ride we did.

Up to the riders really, it's a good two hours when there's a group with additional play time if needed and a Castle dropped in the middle with a tea room.
