Virtual top tube

Hi

I feel a bit daft asking buts what's a virtual top tube measurement, I'm guessing its the measurement of a top tube when its horizontal as opposed to a sloping top tube.

Any ideas?

You are correct. It's a measurement taken to a line designating an imaginary horizontal top tube

Cheers Chopper1192, I've been looking at a frame with a virtual top tube length of 58cm and wondered how it compared to my 20" Kona ,favourably by looks of it.
