Re: A wheel, no more, no less

Thanks everyone.
Someone must know of a rear hub please.

I'll start adding some other colourful parts, and parts in general collected for the build.
Although somewhat pointless with no rear hub.
Please help out. It'll be for nothing otherwise.

Re: A wheel, no more, no less

Finding the other half of the set is the hardest thing youll ever have to do.
I think that the second you buy the single hub a formula in nature takes over and hides the matching part of the set. :?

I have a nos purple XC(disc) and am desperate for the rear. Can i find one ? not a chance but a have seen 2 pairs built up go past

Re: A wheel, no more, no less

aaah the old ti-dye spokes, i had those in the 90's, didn't know you could still get them......where from?

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinion please?)

I'm struggling to find a rear hub and skewers.

Does the silver work with this wheel?

Also the spokes where ordered through Hobson cycles from the states.

It definitely works but is blue an option for hubs as the spokes end in blue? Or are you set on 3dv

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinions please)

I toyed with blue. But nothing else is blue, everything is purple.
Plus the blue is bookended with purple as it is.

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinions please)

In that case ill keep my eyes open for a rear 3dv! Is it nos specifically you're after?

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinions please)

Much appreciated, thanks for that.

NOS would be the ideal, however a decent used one would still be great.
I haven't seen either unfortunately.

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinions please)

I would just take that Wheel, put it in a frame, and hang it on the wall in my living room... I have a Lott of wheels with twisted Spokes and that'd awesome. But this wheel is the most gorgeous one i have ever seen(i think)

Re: A wheel, no more, no less (opinions please)

I have some of those spokes on a hope rear hub. I too went with the blue spoke nipples. Mine were not twisted though just a two and three cross pattern for the rear. Those spokes are hard to come by even over here. Union made them for a bit the Marwi or something like that really took over making them. Wish there were available today as easy as they were back in the day.
