Pace RC31 rigid carbon and magnesium forks should help keep the weight down. They weigh 771g.

Is this going to be a single speed :?

Update
full nos 9 speed Xt.

My bike should be pretty light but unfortunately im a giant and the frame is based upon a garden gate so it comes in at about 26 1/2lbs :( (though the USE sus post and beaded tyres do bump it up a bit)
Tyre choice is good for dropping weight as it changing unimportant bolts to alloy or Ti Whats your choice of cranks :?

Choice of cranks, either nos Raceface Turbine LP or XT 750. As this bike is being built to ride, I may keep the Turbines for my next build, a Kona explosif garage queen ultimate build. Litespeed will be 9 speed.

Yeah, keep the turbines, best on something like a kona anyhow. Whats up with it that makes it a garage queed Breakages or you mean as in it just doesnt get out too oftem.
Incidentally :? what the weight of the XT750 cranks. ?
