proflex 855 rear brake question

hello i have a proflex 855 that has xtr900 leavers and shifters and was running xt v's i want to put cantis back on as the leavers are for cantis. the front is not a problem but the back has not got a cable hanger is there anyway to get around it

Why don't you place a request for a rear brake hanger in the wanted section?There might be someone out there with a busted frame they are breaking.Looking at my 855 the hanger is a proflex not generic part,but it would not be beyond the wit of man to fabricate or bodge something which might work.

OK that worked.Piece is made of 10mm aluminium (?) and is 50mm long.What you can't see is that it is attached to the swingarm by a bolt from behind and the depth is approx 25mm at its deepest point,where it attaches to the swing arm.
