Pretty sure these are LX.

Yep LX, '95-96ish at a best guess. If I didn't have 3 sets...haha

Bought some last month when they were even cheaper, (about £7 a pair!!) Nice brakes with Quality alloy cartridge pads.

Cartridge in the pic says Deore LX.

M565 is 95-96 LX, right before V-brakes. IMO worth buying for the cartridge pads on their own, it would take seconds to remove the 'Deore LX' lettering off the cartridge bodies and they'd be right at home in M737/M900 etc.

Bought 2 sets but finding the blocks/pads are rock hard is this normal or are they supposed to be normal rubber these feel like very hard plastic :?
