Phrases and sayings you wish people wouldn't say :-(

I'm guilty of "There's no rhyme or reason to it" and "Your'e stuck between a rock and a hard place" hate saying those but i cant help myself

But at the end of the day it's a game of two halfs and it ain't over till the fat lady sings :)

The word 'Sick' used to describe something as good ???

A tad off topic but:

'Carrot Top' trousers; WTF? both, as a description and as an actual cut of trouser. Looks ruddy ridiculous.

Anyone who pretends to be from Jamaica/West Indies, a rapper or such like = knobhead

This is why I never go out in town anymore!! Gimme the woods and fields any day..

Oh I have a bunch!

- "Blue sky thinking"
- "Management mosaic"
- "Lets fly a kite with that sometime" (really heard that!!)
- "Pushing the letter"
- "They say..."

And my all time favourite said to me by a director I hated!..."There's no "I" in team"...I responded with "There's no "I" in wanker either!"...needless to say we haven't worked together since!

Maybe a Wiltshire saying but 'led' (laid) as in 'I'm led on the sofa' :)

They say it in parts of Lancashire too (Bolton mainly!).
Most annoying!

Somethink, nothink, likkle, bokkle - aaargh!
Just read the f**king word - "k" looks and sounds nothing like "g" or "t".

The likkle thing is very common in East Lancs and drives me mad!

And the worst one - "I aren't" - loads of people I work with use that one - it's not even English!

And as for those carrot top trousers - don't even get me started!
