...and I find the phrase 'get a job' kind of bizarre when thats exactly what I'm trying to do? And if the members of Retrobike want to help out, that is entirely up to them. It has happened many a time for many members who have hit hard times or need a little help.

...thats because you jumped down the throat of anyone who dared to criticize. Shouting like a whiny kid when at the most, phrases like 'golden turd' and 'crap' were used by members - hardly a personal attack on yourself , not deserving of the responses that followed. Personal attacks on other members wont win you over any friends either.
The Activator was just a gimmick to cash in on something, as others have written, it was sold in order to keep the company going in the face of stiff competition from the far East. It was very bad and its reputation is pretty deserved.
