Hi all

Winter is over and I thought Id get some photos of some of my Winter builds up here to encourage me to get them finished quicker

Wheels will be changed I have a set of campag hubs being built up at the moment which should be done next week then I will hopefully get this build finished.
It will be a full mix of Campag components
Paint job is an original KLein pait job but a respray as frame was sent back to Klein to get a Black Silver paint job
Once this build is finished the Klein attitude will be riden on a regular basis and off road

More Pics once build is complete

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

Steve I like the color combination between frame and fork+mc1.

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

very original…
But your frame is tooooo small, and you would break the seatube… :?

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

If you're building period correct keep an eye out for some Centaur shifters. They’re a bit chunkier looking than Icarus, but have friction shift capability.
Available in grey or black.

With a bit of DIY you can mount them to the brakes, which looks a lot cleaner than the original clamps. You will need to source the peg mounts, which appear on Ebay quite often.

What’s the rough max height person for an XS Klein?

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

Funny looking combination, the silver and the black, looks nice! Good luck with building!

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

Hi All

@24pouces I just stuck the post into the frame , I am not that tall
Seat will be quite allot lower once the frame is built up

@dazzawazza Thanks for the detailed Info I will be keeping the gear shifters as I have the matching brakes for these just not sure if to fit them or keep the ones I have on

Wheels should be built by next week so I can then try and get the build finished and hit the tracks

Re: Klein Attitude 1991 XS Campagnolo build

That is looking perfect Steve, great mix of components complimenting the frame set and colours, you have done a good job on it.

Re:

The bike has been built for a while now and not used
The bike feels heavy with the campag parts :| might move the Campag parts to my Downhill Sbike frame
Now considering stripping again and building it up with a mix of XT and XTR parts
Anyone know how much weight I could save ?
Also trying to find a Black MC1 stem for the bike to give it a different look...
Was considering a respray but the queue is long at the moment for klein respays
