DT Swiss 240s front hub. New and unused ex-demonstration

Jerry Thurston

Dirt Disciple
Ed ( Thirteen last week and now spent his birthday money on somelong awaited forks thanks to you guys)
was given a brand new wheel with a DT Swiss 240s front hub last year.
He wanted the very tasty rim on the rear of his build so persuaded good old dad to do the business spokes-wise.

So, the front hub is now surplus to requirements.
Although it was spoked into a rim it has never been into a bike as it was a demonstration unit for a very high-end bike accessories dealer

It's mint apart from some tiny marks from having spokes (and by tiny I mean really tiny)

Are we being too greedy at £50 plus a fiver P and P?

Hi,
Do you know if this is the oversize version that can be converted to 15mm ?
Cheers,
Andrew

I don't... How might I tell?
Had a close look, certainly the 'tunnel' through the centre is pretty large and revolves with the bearings.

I'm pretty sure that's the standard version. The oversize ones have a larger spoke flange and you can read "oversize" underneath "240s"

Hi,
OK will have to pass then I'm afraid as need a 15mm version, bargain price though.
Cheers,
Andrew
