That looks brilliant fun and its nice to see even with full sussers, the yoof of today can still crash stupidly

So TK when you scheduling an East Coast ride at that venue ;)

Pretty small area, not worth a trip unless you're in the area. Jumps are pretty mental. Takes a lot of bottle to carry enough speed to clear them. Do miss the old skool track that was dug up to make way for these. Sketchy as fook, but more soul.

ah, had heard of Kinnoul hill but thought was bigger.

any decent riding around pitlochry area apart from glen tilt ?

Shitloads, once things dry out a bit.

Keith the Pitlochry loop we did a few winters ago was pretty good - Pitlochry, Killiekrankie, Tay Forest Park, Pitlochry - you can pick up waterproof maps from Escape Route in town.

here is the GPS of the route we took... Loads of options up the hill for extending it and near the start you should take in the queens view.

That's a good route but misses a trick by not riding the singletrack in the woods on the Pitlochry side of the loch. Some nice trails in black spout woods near the distillery you can do as well, instead of dropping back into town by road. If you've all day you can also tag on a nice loop at the top end by Blair Atholl.
What you really need is a guide that used to stay there. ;)

It didn't miss a trick when riding with limited daylight and minus temperatures and most of all, with the call of a pub meal at the end. :) Loads of options on the Map that Escape Route sells.

we were in pitlochry for a long weekend in Feb and stayed in the Moulin Inn, great wee pub.

nice area and as you say a ride with a local guide would be good lol.

No it was tourist central Clubby as there were 14 of us - pub on the high street at the north end - think it was Mackay's
