Mavic 500 sealed bearing hubs on GP4 tubular rims, in great condition with hardly any rim wear and very smooth hubs.

DT stainless D/B spokes

absolutely STUNNING set of wheels!! we used to build wheels like that by the dozen
when mavic brought those hubs out. imagine a hub that's impossibly smooth and
doesn't need any greasing or adjustment....ahhh, those were the days...

See what happens in next week, they are a great set of wheels and its really hard to believe how nearly 30 year old wheels can be so smooth still!

It I wasn't a Campag die hard - I'd be finding a use for them!
 
i'm sorely tempted to buy them just to look at them all day long!!

we sold wheel combinations like this by the dozen back then...i always
was a diehard campag fan but could never deny that these hubs were
perfectly smooth unlike the campag ones, which always pissed me off
a bit!!
