Any markings on the dropouts any idea of weight?

Looks low rent except for the lugs.

No markings. Its fairly weighty. Seems well made though

Looks either Claud Butler if British or Bridgestone if Far East (Jap Built), but I'm almost definitely wrong

I was thinking it looks a bit Dawes-ey, with the pressed lugs and that Metro Kensington pearl paint.

Dawes usually put their name in the seat stay cap at the seat tube cluster. Definitely a lot of touring heritage with the double eyelets on the rear dropouts.
