Just thought I'd share this with you mtb guys. Koga Miyata Ridge Runner with a split downtube. Seems pretty nice, stupid light. Debating whether to keep it or not :?

Anyone give me info on it? i.e year of manufacture?

From the top of my head 1997. Everything after 1995 is outside the scope of my collection. 1995 was the last year for the Japanese frames.

Your frame is not a Miyata frame. It is built by Hodaka. Officially under supervision of Miyata. I don't know whether something changed in the numbering when when frameproduction moved from Miyata Jp to Hodaka Tw.

Decided to split to sell as some of the parts have seen better days and I know that it'll be one of those projects that'll just be hanging in storage forever. Shame.

I stripped it down today the frame alone weighs in at 1.8kg, that's pretty light by my reckoning! With fork and a couple of bits about 3.1kg.

Wild guess: 47cm ct. Tel, I think it is best you put up your fs topic now. Same rules as roadsection apply here too.
