Re: 1991 Cannondale SM800.. My Unicorn!

great story .... my unicorn is yet to appear.

did you grow a foot sicne 1991? The 20 in frame, judging by the head tube, is much bigger than the one you had originally plus you have even more seat post extension??????

Hmm you got me wondering exactly what size this Beast is.. the head tube does look quite a lot bigger than the original so I just got the tape measure out and floor to top of seat tube is 31.1" as in the chart below:

Then I remembered ez054098's 22" 1992 BofE thread.. and clearly a 22 is much bigger.

So mine is definitely a "BotE" 20.. even though measurement from centre of BB to top of seat toob is 18.6" :?.. this is more complex than Klein sizing

Re: 1991 Cannondale SM800.. My Unicorn!

First, what a sweet ride. Second, it looks like a 20" to me. Third, more pictures please.

That paint is to late 80s early 90s. I love Pepperoni forks too. So much so I even put them on my Dean.

My old SE2000. I sold it a couple months ago. Still sorry I did. It went to a good home though.
