How do you guys get into the little recesses in the cut outs and around the base of the arm on the drive side crank?

I'm struggling to get a good angle to get to it!

I use high quality foam sanding pads which i can cut up into suitable sizes to help get into those awkward places.

You have to look and search but 1200 grade foam pads are great to use before any final polishing is started, as normal i can't find any

Is anyone finding some alloys polish better than others?

I got a mirror finish on some AVA handlebars with an adapted bench grinder, mop and compounds, but not so great with a stem.
