Fife and Tayside rides thread

Re: East Coast Rides Thread

Technically no tougher than the wee bings at Big Ecks neighbourhood. The motocross bikes have smoothed out alot of stuff so no drop offs but quite steep in sections. Fully rigid friendly plus umpteen lines to choose from so you can choose alternate routes. Later out between Lasswade and Polton there is a long stepped decent but the steps are usually a bike length apart, its easy enough. Basically everywhere I'm taking you I have ridden fully rigid without misshap, well apart from the bit that left me hanging on a barbed wire fence  .
What you will need is low gears as there is steep ups that can come upon you quickly and working brakes as people, dogs and horses plus deer and foxes are often met on these paths.
